A committee of state lawmakers dismissed a residency challenge against Murfreesboro Representative Donna Rowland Monday, calling the complaint groundless. After losing to Rowland in November, Dr. Rishi Saxena challenged the election, saying Rowland did not live in the district. The Iowa House has overwhelmingly approved a measure expanding health coverage to more children. By a 91-3 vote Monday, the House approved the measure, the final in a three-step health care expansion.
